1. Camera IP change.

First of all, we can search again in the VCR channel management. See if the camera IP changes, resulting in the original IP error, unable to display the monitoring screen.If a new IP, is found, then add it again, or change the IP.

There is a situation where the video recorder and the camera are not of the same brand, and the video recorder cannot be searched successfully after the camera IP has changed the network segment. Then we need to use computer software to make search changes to the camera. After completing the next few steps, you can consider whether this is the case.

2. The network interface of the switch or camera is loose.

Determine whether the line is unobstructed according to the network lights of the interface corresponding to the switch and the camera tail line.

If the LED is not flashing properly, you can try to reseat it. If you see obvious disconnection or corrosion, replace the crystal head directly.

3, the network cable is aging and broken, or damaged by external objects.

In many cases, the construction wire is not up to standard, and the long-term wind and rain lead to the fracture of the line.Or the installation position is too prominent, and the network cable is disconnected as a result of being touched by vehicles and personnel. At this time, the front-end signal cannot be transmitted to the video recorder and needs to be rewired or professionally docked.

4, monitor power supply damage.

There is usually a monitoring power supply next to the camera installation position, which can be judged by observing whether the power indicator is bright or not. If there is no power output, try replacing the power supply, or check to see if the circuit is disconnected.

There are also some cameras powered by poe, or centralized power supply at the back end, which can be used to determine the source of power according to the situation on the spot, and then find out the cause.

5 camera damage.

There are also many times when there is something wrong with the camera itself. After all the above steps are excluded, you can replace the camera to test whether it is resolved.

When changing the camera on the same day, the appropriate resolution and coding format should be selected, and the IP network segment should also be adjusted appropriately.Otherwise, it won't show the picture.
